Phoenix police are now investigating a shooting that happened at a gas station near
31st street and Broadway Road, and happened around 9:30 this morning. When officers
arrived, they learned a man had been shot by another man after some kind of confrontation.
The shooter took off and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital, we're told, with
serious injuries.
The city of Clearwater waiting an lab test results before giving people in 3
neighborhoods the okay to drink or cook with tap water again. Right now people in
Clearwater Beach, Island Estate and Sand Key must boil water before using it, just as a
precaution. It's a result of a watermain break that happened in Coachman Park. Water
service was restored last night, but if you're in those areas, use boiled water to brush
your teeth, you can shower, just try not to drink any of the water.
