Recently, our university is conducting a survey about students'opinions on online courses.
As far as I am concerned, online courseshave both advantages and disadvantages. A
mong all the plus sides of online courses, flexibility comes first Students can learn anyt
ime and anywhere. Second, through onlinecourses offered bycourses, students have acces
s to high-qualityrenowned teachers at home and abroad.Furthermore, students canwatch r
eplays and learn difficult points repeatedly.Despite theseadvantages, the shortcoming
s of online courses should not be ignored .On the one hand, a high level of interaction
between students andteachers is hard to achieve.On the other hand, online classesdeman
d qualities such as self-discipline and motivation, while moststudents have difficulty in
maintaining focused without teacherssupervision.Given the overall situation of online
classes in our university,Ithink, to improve the effectiveness of online courses, teachers
ought tooffer more opportunities for interaction and collaboration. Besidesstudents
should improve their abilities of self-learning, making good useof online courses.
