In the UK, people eat lunch in their offices and sometimes even
at their desk. Sandwiches are often eaten with popular fillings
inside, such as cheese, egg, bacon and chicken. People bring
their sandwiches to work or school,or buy them from a supermarket,
sandwich shop or coffee shop. some takeaway shops also sell soup at lunchtime.
In Italy， people usuall y take a longer lunch break,as shops and
businesses close for two or three hours. This means that families
can have a big lunch together at home. Pasta, salad, meat and
pizza are all popular lunches in Italy. Italian people have a short sleep
lunch: this gives them energy to go back to work later in the afternoon.
Lunchtime for most Chinese people is quite short. Chinese people
don't go too far from their work or college: they prefer to eat at a nearby
canteen or restaurant. The menu is usually some noodles, rice and meat.
If it's a business lunch, the menu will be richer and more varied.
